Why HC?

It’s the small and subtle changes you make that have a drastic and everlasting change.

Currently on a mission to facilitate new organizational habits for the current company I am working with to ensure we grow stronger and healthier than ever before. Many of the steps needed to take to change and create these new organizational habits are similar to what you would do as a person. There is a difference between changing habits at an organization and changing personal habits though.

 

Personal habits can be changed by focusing on what the root cause is and changing from there. Organizational habits are created through processes and procedures (to paraphrase Charles Duhigg’s The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business) and those take time and a lot of buy-in from different departments before they can be changed.

 

I hope that through this journey, not only can I see the progression of where we started and where we’re heading, but that others can also use this information to help themselves.
